AuditAE runs on compute and queries four AI engines on every audit. We can’t make that footprint disappear, and we won’t pretend an offset does. What we can do is put a fixed slice of every dollar into the one thing that actually reverses emissions: taking CO₂ out of the air and keeping it out.
Stripe Climate lets a company our size fund that without running a procurement program. Stripe pools contributions, its climate team and Frontier’s reviewers pick the removal projects, and Stripe takes no fee on the contribution. The percentage and the purchases are public, so the claim is one you can verify rather than take on trust.
What it is: 1% of revenue, permanent removal, published by Stripe. What it isn’t: carbon neutrality, an offset for your usage, or a surcharge.

What exactly happens when I pay?
When you top up your AuditAE balance, 1% of that payment is contributed to Stripe Climate. Stripe pools those contributions and buys permanent carbon removal from companies its climate team and Frontier's scientific reviewers have vetted. Stripe doesn't take a fee on the contribution.
Does this change what I pay?
No. Prices are the same per check, per action and per AEBOT turn as listed on the pricing page. The 1% comes out of AuditAE's revenue, not on top of your bill.
Is AuditAE carbon neutral?
We don't claim that. 1% of revenue buys a small, real amount of permanent carbon removal; it doesn't offset our compute, the AI engines we query, or anything else. It's a contribution, not a certificate.
Carbon removal or offsets?
Removal. Stripe Climate funds technologies that take CO₂ out of the atmosphere and store it for centuries or longer — direct air capture, enhanced weathering, ocean-based approaches and similar — rather than avoided-emission offsets.
