One OAuth step. Four properties.

Dashboard → Settings → Integrations → Connect Google. Scopes are minimal by design — read-only for GA4 and Search Console, send-only for Gmail, own-files-only for Drive. Disconnect any time; all four revoke together. The same connection answers Search Console and GA4 questions in Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor through the Search Console MCP and Google Analytics MCP servers.

FAQ

Integration questions, answered.

Can I connect multiple WordPress sites?

Yes. Each AuditAE site pairs with one WordPress install. If you manage multiple brands, create separate sites in your workspace and pair each independently.

Does connecting Google give AuditAE access to my email?

Gmail scope is send-only (gmail.send) — AuditAE cannot read your inbox, drafts, or existing emails. Drive scope is drive.file — it only sees files it created.

Do I need Yoast or Rank Math to use the WordPress integration?

No. Without either, write_seo covers AuditAE's own schema injection (FAQPage, Organization, Article JSON-LD). With Yoast or Rank Math installed, AuditAE also writes to their meta fields.

Does the WordPress integration work with Elementor?

Yes, from plugin 0.29.0. Elementor pages, including Elementor Pro widgets, are read from Elementor's own widget data, scored by the per-post AI Readiness checklist, and edited in place with exact find-and-replace text edits. Fields bound to Elementor Pro dynamic tags are skipped.

Can the WordPress plugin compress images?

Yes, from plugin 0.35.0 on a paired site: the uploaded JPEG, PNG and WebP files and their thumbnails are resized and compressed in place (same names and formats), each original is backed up, and "Restore original" in the Media Library puts it back. 1¢ per 5 images, free when it saves little.

Which AI engines are supported?

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini — each selectable per audit. Copilot and Claude aren't currently citation audit targets, though ClaudeBot's crawl activity is logged by the WordPress plugin.

Does the WordPress plugin slow down my site?

No. The REST routes only run when AuditAE calls them, and the frontend work is a single User-Agent scan per request for the AI crawler log plus optional JSON-LD in the head — well under a millisecond on any reasonable host.

My site isn't on WordPress. Does AuditAE still work?

Yes. Audits, citation tracking, the technical and agent-readiness checks and fix plans work on any site from its domain. AuditAE detects the platform — Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, or a code-built site such as Next.js or Astro — and gives each fix as steps for that platform with paste-ready JSON-LD and meta tags. On code-built sites, a coding agent like Claude Code or Cursor connected to the AuditAE MCP server can make the changes in your repo.

Can I use AuditAE without connecting any integrations?

Yes. The core citation audit works with nothing connected. Google and WordPress are additive — more context for AEBOT, plus the content-fix workflows.
